Mignon Monday

Mignon (French) Adj.
Definition: small and pretty; dainty

Nubbies play in snow. So cute. : )

Crafts:
♦Make your own display cloche.
♦Blank wall behind the TV? Here is a cool diy to fix that. Aunt Peaches, has the greatest ideas!
♦Chalkboard paint of any color.
♦DIY stationary.
♦Street signs, but would be cool for tons of different things.
♦Re-make thriftstore finds.
♦Easy necklace remake.

Hair & Beauty:
♦How to style your hair, in Victory Rolls.

Feminism:
♦This makes me so sad, girls on YouTube ask commenters if they are pretty.
♦Thoughts on The Girl Hate Cycle.
♦I guess “provocative” is in the eye of the beholder. Do you think a long sleeved sweater over a dress with tights is too provocative for school? Read all about it.
♦Wow, Disney...how dissappointing.

Lols:
♦Mutant cookie sheep!
♦Closets as timecapsules. Very amusing, and reminds me of myself!

Positivity:
♦A woman’s love for her horse…saved its life. (Don’t worry happy ending!)

Note to Spaceman Steve: I keep waiting for mauve to come up, so we can celebrate Suave Mauve Day!

Middle row: Green turquoise pendant with Nellie’s ashes ~ gift from Ellie, heart shaped turquoise ring ~ found in 100+ year old farm house I grew up in, turquoise pendant ~ Gramma T via aunt Sammy, vintage steel and faux turquoise “S” pin ~ flea market, faux turquoise bouquet pin ~ aunt Dorothy.

Note: I know that I said I forget where I get things from….which is true for clothes…somehow I remember where all of my jewelry came from…weird eh?
