More From Cooper's House

In the farm house:

This is Zoey. She was feeling kind of left out, while every one was cooing over Cooper.

Raspi gave her some love. She was very appreciative.

Gorgeous glamour girl!

Farm yard:

Check out the girl on the far right. Cow smirk!

Cow smooch.

I know that most people would think they are just cows, but I think they can be beautiful.

The barn:

The barn cats.  Griffin the grey.

Petey taking a stroll.

Griffin the adorable.

We had so much fun.  It is always great to see everyone.
I spent a lot of time right next to the wood stove, nodding off.

Hans plays the Djembe. So awesome!

Later in the evening Todd, Hans, Lynn and Rapsi played together.

 Raspi is musical.

“How did you break your butt? Cow herding!”

So…there is a chihuahua…that herds sheep…

...and a rabbit that heards sheep…

Well meet Sophie… The human herding cow!

Well meet Sophie… The human herding cow!

Sophie is my mother-in-law’s dominate cow. (Hence the bell) She decided to push Lynn around the enclosure.

(Don’t worry! We warned her to nip this in the bud…now, before she weighs more than a ton!)

Bonus video:

They had just finished fencing in the enclosure for the calves. They had fun romping around!

Trip to the farm

Rasputin and I made another visit to mum's farm. We really have fun hanging out with her and her cows. I am lucky to have such a cool mother-in-law!

Baby cows!
They adore Lynn.

They love it when she scratches under their chins.

Lynn and Tod both love music.
They both sing, Tod plays many instruments, and Lynn plays piano and organ.
Hope you enjoy the Photos of the farm.

A Visit to Mum’s Farm

Rasputin and I went to visit his Mum (Lynn*) on her farm. She and her husband (Todd*) are starting up a small dairy farm.

Most of their cows are Jerseys, and one Holstein.

Their eyes are so beautiful!

Oh, #92! You are such a little fashion plate!

They cows adore Lynn! She calls out “Hi babies!” and they come running toward her. They nuzzle her hand…waiting for scritches.
(I used this tactic to get these photos!)

Me with the calves. They all have names...but I forget who is who....

Rasputin scratching one of the babies.

The Holstein is named Legs. (I can’t confuse her with another calf. ☺)

Zoey and one of the calves chilling.

Cows are very curious animals.◘

Most have graduated to grains, but the two littlest ones are still on milk replacer. These two cleaned each others faces after breakfast.

Rasputin took a video, but he hasn’t uploaded it yet. I will add it later.
Lynn is training one of the calves for the upcoming fair. She takes her out and runs her around the yard to tire her out a bit. Then they practice walking together.

I took several shots of them, but I really loved the motion of this one.
Hope you enjoy the photos!
